Jeg fant et komplett brukt instrument-panel fra en amerikansk sykkel på e-bay og jeg gamblet på at jeg skulle få den til å passe på et vis.

My KLR is produced for the european market by Kawasaki, a so-called C-model. They have done a few but critical changes between this one and the american A-model. One of these changes has been a slimming down of the instrument cluster/panel. On the european C-model they have removed both the tachometer and engine temperature gauge. The temperature gauge has been replaced by a "idiot light" that comes on when the engine has just about reached meltdown. This is information I would`ve liked to have had presented to me at an earlier point, especially in the Sahara desert. I also like to know which RPM the engine is running at, so I can amongst other things know which gear the bike`s in.
I found a complete instrument cluster on e-bay from an older A-model bike, I won the auction and gambled that I would make it fit somehow.
